The Parsonage

So
It's been awhile.
How are you?
How's the family?
Job?
So... how bout that weather we're having?
Right?
I know!!

Anyways; a whole boat load of things have happened. And I've been clicking away with the camera and such but then again i am much to lazy to be bothered with blogging. Ive got more important things to do. Like sipping wine, going to the bar, sitting on the sofa, watching movies, complaining about boogers on my side of the couch and doing the dishes.

Getting on with the chase.. Here is some shots of an amazing building that was torn down on my road a while back. Most referred to it in town as the Parsonage nothing more. Kinda like Cher or Madonna. Just "The Parsonage". It was old, history rich, and falling down. Many people have wanted to buy it for years with no avail. So, the town just tore it down.
My mother cried, the crew smiled and we watched.
It groaned, it shook, and it held strong.
The sky stopped snowing, the sun came out, and then we heard it sigh its last breath.

Here's a few shots like i kinda like out of the bunch.

JMH Jamboree

Liz and I had to wander around the Johnson Memorial Hospital company whodiee doo on June 6th wasn't all that bad in the long run.

Tho this guy might beg to differ.
He was the owner operator of Velma's wicked delicious Kettle Corn
Go to http://www.wickeddelicious.com
You can see the wicked ridiculous write up they did on it in the "Gigs from Hell" section.
HEH. Good stuff. Go JMH GO~!
This woman was nice enough to not think I was completly cracked up when I layed down in front of her. What a stand up gal.

So like I said. In the long run it wasn't so bad. Except the extreme exposure to sunlight on two of the pastiest females ever created....

We could have used Fire Man to put out this heat!

If we dont have it you dont need it.

I work at a local general store in my town. Straight up mom and pop store. They dont have many of these around anymore. Its quaint.
Rickety floors, screen doors, the candy isle is worn in the 10c candy section, and everyone knows everyone. It's older than dirt.
Seriously if we don't have it you really don't need it. Cause we literally have EVERYTHING

Anyways there is a lovely little pond behind the store. In the mornings, I enjoy just standing out there watching the pond and everything come to life around it. Picture Esq you might say, with the cow pasture across the way, the traditional red barn yadda yadda. Pleasant and relaxing. So needless to say i attempted to photograph it.

Mill Pond in May 5:30 am

Tuned in

Seeing as the slacker that lurks in me at all times kicked into high gear, I haven't done this in quite sometime. I have however been photographing quite a bit.

YAY ME.

So I guess I'm just going to throw down some photo's then come back and fiddle with things then throw down some more. Just to speed things up a smidge.

Or I wont. I may fall back into my stoner ways an completely forget about it again for another two months. Stay tuned. Or not.

I shoot dead things.

Well not really.
I went on an outing with Liz. I attempted to find the abandoned school in Monson but honestly couldn't find it. Its apparently quite allusive.
Jerk.
So instead we went over to 32 and played under the bridge. Wandered around the wooded area and then some.

I found some dead things and shot them. Get it. Teehee
Photographed some art work from locals even though it had been distroyed by some yokles.

Toyed with my obsession with Tree's even though it might be considered unhealthy.

And finished it off by Popping out from behind a tree and snapping pictures of passerbys
I was even able to get a smile

day 4

This is one of the most photographed spots in town. So naturally I decided to take a stab at it. No wonder people like to shoot this spot. Its great. Has many elements, textures, and railroad tracks. Who can go wrong with that line up. With the exception of the lens flare I don't even mind these shots unedited. Even though i will most likely fix them at a later date

I also attempted to take pictures of running water. A first for me. Using an image stabilizing lens set to ISO of 100 seemed to do the trick. But should have applied a filter for a more of a pop. Even though I don't really know if you can get any real vibrancy from shit brown.

On a side note. While on my outing I fell in the mud attempting to text Liz, walk, and photograph things at the same time. Good thing no one was looking.

Red lens from Uranus

This is the infamous extra stupid red lens. It made me nanners.
Wide eyed and annoyed.
But I love black and white so very much that I'm going to have to just suck it up and figure it out. That's the main reason for doing this.
Tomorrow should be better. I plan to wonder around and the weather is supposed to be lovely.

On another note.
We watched "Son of Rambo" tonight

It was enjoyable.

The fake day two

Well. I attempted to have an outing. Thought it would be fun. Liz was going to join but the weather is moody and so am I.

There was an attempt at photographing the St. Edwards Church in my town using a red filter to give it a darker more dramatic look to it but couldn't get the settings right on my camera and had a hissy fit.

I'm in hate with my camera right now. Which I guess is a problem seeing as i started a photography esk blog only three days ago.

So instead. I shall post a pic from the archives.

This is for my distaste in dishes.
They are sneaky little bastards.
And they never go away.

But anywho. This is a recipe for what im making for dinner.

Yep

So. Here it is. This is where it goes. And where technically i should put things down in theory at least..

I cant tell you what this will consist of, what I may post. i.e pictures. Rants ,raves, recipes or anything of that nature. I just know that periodically it will change. Depending on how I am, what i am doing, or if I'm feeling it.
This blog will be as emotional and unstable as its creator.

But It's my blog right.

So..
Welcome to my journey.
